Agnelle Bundervoet (Bundervoët) plays Ravel's Gaspard de la Nuit

A radio broadcast from November 10, 1959 featuring French pianist Agnelle Bundervoët playing Ravel's "Gaspard de la Nuit". The pianist had to retire at a young age from the concert platform because of rheumatoid arthritis, but continued to make some broadcasts as the studio allowed her to manage her condition more easily. Bundervoët navigates through this marvellous work of Ravel's with a solid technical facility, her wonderfully varied tonal palette and skilled pedaling evocatively setting the mood of each of the three works.

Agnelle Bundervoet performs Ravel, Bach, Bach/Busoni, Brahms, Liszt, Schumann
