The German choral conductor and radio producer Guenther Arndt (1907-1976) conducts the Berlin Handel Chorus and the Berlin Radio Symphony in this 1963 performance of the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah. From an extremely rare Deutsche Grammophon sampler issued in 1965, "Music in the European Tradition: An Introduction to our Classical Catalogue," catalogue number 104 251.
