Geoffrey Simon: Saint-Saens Parysatis - Airs de Ballet, London Philharmonic

"Parysatis" was a spectacular drama based on the life of the Queen of Ancient Persia. It was first performed in 1902 and featured Saint-Saens's Incidental Music. From this, we hear the exotic 'Airs de Ballet' played by the London Philharmonic conducted by Geoffrey Simon.
